Bruce began learning violin at the age of six. He currently studies violin and music skills in Sydney Conservatorium of Music’s Rising Stars program. Bruce has won numerous First Prizes in international music competitions in both violin and composition, including the Grand Slam and World’s Top 10 Musician in London Young Musician Competition, First Prize in International Youth Music Competition, the Gold Prize in European Music Competition,1st Champion in Indonesia Youth Music Olympic, and Gold Prize in World Classic Music Award. He has been invited to perform at the Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Musikverein and other world’s major concert halls. He contributes to his community by playing music for elders and teaches younger students violin and music theory. Outside music, Bruce enjoys writing and long distance running. His short stories, articles and poems have been published in different anthologies and magazines. At school, Bruce is also the DUX of his year group for the past two years.
