Venezuelan Violoncellist who received his first musical notions at the early age of six within the National System of Youth and Children’s Orchestras of Venezuela. He studied Violoncello with teachers Andrés Herrera and William Molina in the Latin-American Academy of Violoncello. Being one of the most outstanding cellists of his generation in his home country, Coronado performed as soloist with remarkable groups in Venezuela; highlighting his participations with the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra, under the conduction of maestros Christian Vásquez, César Iván Lara and Rafael Payare. In the international stage, he has performed in different music halls and festivals such as: Degollado Theatre (Guadalajara, Mexico), Arturo Márquez Theatre (Querétaro, Mexico), International Chamber Music Festival of San Miguel de Allende (Guanajuato, Mexico), under the conduction of the well-known Cellist Amit Peled, International Music Festival Domaine Forget in Canada, International Music Festival of Esmeraldas in Ecuador, as well as several recitals in various cities of Mexico. He has also taken masterclasses with outstanding figures such as Natalia Gutman, Phillipe Müller, Ralphael Wallfisch, Johannes Moser, Amit Peled, Maria Kliegel and Gary Hoffmann. During his participation with the renowned Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, under the conduction of maestro Gustavo Dudamel, Coronado toured throughout European, Asian, North American and Latin American countries. He also participated in recordings for the prestigious record label Deutsche Grammophon. At present, he is part of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Jalisco. He is also concluding his bachelor’s degree studies at the University of Musical Studies in the city of Querétaro and continues his further advanced studies with professor William Molina-Cestari.
