Born in 1994 in Taiwan, Yi-Hsuan Tseng started the piano at the age of four. In 2017, she graduated with the highest achievement in the Bachelor Piano Performance from the Taipei National University of the Arts. During university she started the pipe organ as her second minor instrument, and while studying at the Taipei National University of the Arts, she also received the highest grade with her minor in pipe organ. In 2020, she has received both a masters degree and certificate of Pedagogic Qualification from the Taipei National University of the Arts. In 2021, she obtained also her masters degree piano performance from the University Mozarteum Salzburg. In August of 2021 she was invited to publish her own book „Robert Schumann Carnaval Op.9“ with the German publishing company „Lehrbuchverlag“. At the moment she is studying with the chair of the piano department at the University Mozarteum Salzburg, Prof. Andreas Groethuysen. She is working on her postgraduate degree in piano performance, and will graduate in July of 2023.
